At Manley Park Primary School we believe children learn best when they are healthy, safe and secure, when their individual needs are met, and when they have positive relationships with the adults caring for them. In Nursery we provide a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment, where children are able to grow in confidence. We ensure that every child receives enjoyable and challenging learning and development experiences tailored to meet their needs.
Children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners and parents and carers. We provide a rich and varied environment which supports children’s learning and development. It gives them the confidence to explore and learn in secure and safe, yet challenging, indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Early Years Foundation Stage classrooms are organised to allow children to independently explore and learn securely and safely.
Each classroom is organised into areas of continuous provision that are displayed and maintained to support children’s experiences as independent learners.
Both the Nursery and Reception children have continuous access to an area of outdoor provision.
Outdoor learning is valued across the Early Years Foundations Stage.
