1000km Challenge

This year the children of year 6 decided to raise the money for their reward trip by taking part in the 1000km challenge. This involved walking from the school to Turnmoss Wood, where a 500 metre track was set up for the children and adults to use to build up the distance. It worked out that with the walk to Turmoss and back included everyone needed to do 20-23 laps (10-11.5km) each. Everyone did this and really enjoyed themselves. On the walk back year 6 stopped and played a game of 30-a-side rounders. Below are the photos from the day.
