Effective communication is a vital ingredient in making our school successful. We want the whole school community to be well informed, listened to and to have clarity around expectations and processes.

At Manley Park our values drive our ethos, curriculum and behaviour. We encourage our whole school community to model these values in all that we do, setting an example through our actions and our communications. We want the way in which we communicate with each other to be a positive experience for everybody and we can do this by having a clear communications process for families to use when they want to get in touch and talk about issues that might come up for them at school (our 3 step process can be found below).

In a digital world we believe it is essential to maintain personal and meaningful communication. Both internally and externally, this supports our ability to involve everyone and foster strong relationships. We have an open door policy and pride ourselves in being friendly and approachable. Wherever possible we have face to face conversations. Teachers and leaders are always available to chat before and at the end of the school day.

Our communication systems are designed to provide clarity for parents and carers. Parent hub is our main form of daily communication; weekly bulletins, termly news letters and parents evening support us to keep you informed. enables communication to come into school at a time that is convenient for you.

Parent Hub

Parent Hub is the online system we use at Manley Park to communicate with our parents and carers.  It’s a free app that helps us to keep you up-to-date with news, information and forthcoming events in a way that’s paper-free and better for the environment.  It’s now our primary outlet for sharing our news so we’d really like everyone to join so that no one misses out!

Parent Hub can be accessed on smartphones, tablet and laptops, and is available for both Android and iPhone.  If you haven’t already, please download the Parent Hub app from whichever app store you use and log in to be kept informed of what’s going on at Manley Park.

If you have any difficulties downloading or logging in to Parent Hub please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help you get set up.

Parent Pay

ParentPay is an online payment service that enables you to pay for your child’s meals, clubs, school trips and other activities using your credit or debit card.  It is our preferred method of payment at Manley Park as it has many benefits for you, your children and our school:

  • It is easy-to-use and allows you to make online payments whenever suits you
  • The technology used is of the highest internet security available so you know that your money will reach school safely
  • You can access your full payment history and statements securely online at any time
  • You can choose to be alerted via email if your balance is low
  • Your child will not have to carry loose change around school
  • It helps reduce workloads for our office staff, meaning they can spend more time organising school activities.

If you’d like more information about Parent Pay or if you need help setting up your account please contact the school, and we’ll be happy to help.

Can you pass a message to my child?

We understand that circumstances can sometimes change and we are able to pass messages on; however, we feel that it is not ideal for the children or our staff to have learning interrupted, so wherever possible please ensure that your child has the required information before the start of the school day.

If you wish to have a paper copy of any of our policies and procedures or anything else that may relate to your child please contact the school.
